MEET THE TEAM

Elizabeth Kalik

Partner/President

Elizabeth Kalik – MBA, PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification, PMI-BA (Project Management Institute Business Analyst) Certification and is enrolled in Harvard Business School Leadership Principles course. She is an avid equestrian owner and competitor and well known in the Gypsy, Drum Horse, and Working Equitation communities. Elizabeth has developed and managed several equestrian facility and trainer websites and social media pages over the past ten years and has been looking forward to launching her equestrian boarding and training business.

Richard Brown

Partner/Equipment Operations Manager

    Rick is a member of the Oregon Army National Guard and has 12 years of diagnosing and repairing optical systems as a Federal Electronics Technician for the Department of Defense. Rick served in Iraq with a medical evacuation unit and became involved with equines as an avenue to reconnect with the outdoors. He became so engaged with the sport he began riding and showing. Now he provides care and feeding at a local equestrian facility and includes repair and maintenance to help ensure the horses are safe in their environment and equipment is functioning up to the task. Besides being a founding member, Rick will be our equipment maintenance and repair manager.

    Holly Smith

    Vice President/Boarding Operations Manager

    Holly possesses nearly 20 years experience in the equine industry, from equestrian competitions to academia. She has an Associate's degree in Business Administration and an Associate of Science in Equine Science and Management. Holly has been instrumental in the welfare and care of equines and values everything she has learned, studying and observing differing horse management styles. Holly's strengths lie in her attention to detail, integrity, and value for providing horses with the best care and safest environment. Holly is a founding member and our boarding operations manager.

    Tom Heintz

    Partner/Facilities Manager

      An experienced sales representative with an extensive background in the construction industry. He is skilled in budgeting, project management, field coordination, and working with vendors. Tom is a vital networking and outreach coordinator and will manage facility and equipment operations and maintenance. Tom brings a wealth of community connections and history with him - his family was among the area's original pioneers. Tom has been primarily responsible for the AirBnB Super Host status and scores of positive and effusive reviews.
